We like questions, in fact we like asking them just as much as we like answering them. So, we did a bit of both - some of our frequently asked questions are outlined below in case you've got a few and want to save on an email!

General Q's

1. What is the best way to contact Lil Sew 'n' Sews Handmade?

Best way to contact is via email, you can send one anytime to lilsewnsews@bigpond.com and we will be in touch with you as quickly as possible.

2. What are your businesses open hours?

Lil Sew 'n' Sews Handmade is open from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, Monday to Thursday. Classes are hosted during these periods, so if you have a concern outside of class hours, it is best to email so that we can contact you directly without interfering with learning. 

3. Do you have studio open hours, where people can come and visit?

We can make the studio open and available for visits, however you will need to make an appointment via email in advance. 

4. Do you offer walkthroughs for prospective students and parents?

We can make the studio open and available for walkthroughs and tours, however you will need to make an appointment via email in advance.  

Tuition Class Q's

1. What are the Lil Sew 'n' Sews Tuition Classes?

Lil Sew 'n' Sews Tuition teaches students in primary and secondary school basic sewing skills through the creation of three (3) projects per term. 

2. How long do lessons run for?

Lessons run for ninety (90) minutes each week for nine (9) weeks. Our classes have a limit of three (3) students per class to ensure maximum support and guidance during learning.

3. What is the cost of Tuition per term?

Tuition is $330 per term, which must be paid by week three of term or lessons will be suspended. 

4. What materials and goods do we need to provide for our child to attend?

New students who have not attended classes at Lil Sew 'n' Sews before will require a 'Lets Start Sewing Kit' which is purchasable from us, valued at $70 and includes a tape measure, quality scissors, pins, elastic threader, thread snips, hand sewing needles, tailors chalk and a project bag. 
Materials and equipment for projects each term are fully provided and students can pick their fabrics prior to term where applicable to projects. Students are welcome to bring their own water bottle if desired. 

5. Do you offer a full-year of tuition package / discount price?

At this stage, no we do not provide a full year's package. However we are looking into this as an option for 2023.

6. How do I book my child into the upcoming Term of Lil Sew 'n' Sews Tuition?
Head over to the online enrolment form and fill out yours and your child's details for enrolment and we will be in touch with you shortly. 

Handmade Goods Q's

 

1. Do you offer refunds or returns?

Yes we do offer refunds or returns, but only if the item was defective in some way or the order was incorrectly filled on our end. Refunds will be issued when items have been received back from the purchaser. Store credit will also be offered. 

2. What do we do if our parcel hasn't arrived?

Please contact us if you order has not arrived and we will follow the appropriate channels to track it down. Each parcel sent will have a corresponding tracking number with the postal carrier, however if you parcel has been lost we will do our best to hold the carrier accountable.

3. Are your products machine-washable?

Some products are and some products are not, please refer to the instructions and details listed in the description of your corresponding product.
